February benefit payment dates at a glance
The official CRA payment dates for February 2026 come from the Government of Canada benefits calendar. February is short, so eight payment streams fit into roughly two and a half weeks, from the 10th to the 27th. Payments are issued on the listed day but can take a few days to show in your account.
| Benefit | Paid by | Date | Day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ontario Trillium Benefit (OTB) | CRA for Ontario | February 10 | Tuesday |

When is CPP paid in February?
CPP was paid on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Old Age Security and the Guaranteed Income Supplement are issued the same day, so a retiree who gets both CPP and OAS should expect a CPP deposit and a separate OAS deposit on the 25th.
February is the second month at the new January rates. CPP rose 2.0% in January 2026, which put the maximum retirement pension at 65 at $1,507.65 a month. The OAS amount paid in February is the January to March quarterly rate, which is set before the year starts.
CPP depends on your own contribution record and the age you started, so two people can receive very different February amounts. Compare the deposit with your Service Canada approval letter or the tax slip for the year, not with someone else's payment.
Is there a GST or CGEB payment in February?
No. The quarterly federal credit is paid in January, April, July and October, so February has no GST/HST credit or Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit deposit. The last payment before February 2026 was the January 5 GST/HST credit, and the next was April 2.
Provincial credits that ride along with that quarterly payment, such as the Nova Scotia Affordable Living Tax Credit or the Saskatchewan Low-Income Tax Credit, also skip February. The CGEB payment schedule explains how the credit changed names in July 2026.
Provincial payments in February
Two provinces have their own February dates, and several others pay inside the CCB deposit.
- Ontario: the OTB monthly instalment on February 10. The Ontario Child Benefit is not a separate deposit; it is added to the CCB on February 20.
- Alberta: the ACFB quarterly payment on February 27. It is one of only four ACFB dates in the year (August, November, February and May).
- Newfoundland and Labrador: the provincial disability benefit on February 25.
- Paid inside the CCB on February 20: the BC Family Benefit, Nova Scotia Child Benefit, New Brunswick Child Tax Benefit, NL Child Benefit and PEI Child Benefit.
What makes February different: the ACFB quarter
February is the third of four ACFB payments in the July to June benefit year. Alberta families therefore see their largest deposit cluster of the month on the 27th, two days after CPP and seven days after the CCB.
Worked example: an Alberta family in February 2027
Take a single parent in Calgary with one child and low enough income to get the full ACFB base component. For July 2026 to June 2027, that base amount is $1,529 a year for the first child. Split over the four quarterly payments, that is about $382 per payment, so the February 2027 deposit would be close to that figure if income and family size do not change.
If the parent also has working income above $2,760, the working component adds up to $782 a year for one child, or roughly $195 a quarter. The exact February figure appears on the ACFB notice and in CRA My Account. Read more on the Alberta Child and Family Benefit page.
February 2027 payment dates: what is known
The government has not posted February 2027 dates as of September 18, 2026. The next-year calendar usually appears on canada.ca late in the year, often in November or December. We will add the official dates here once they are published.
Two dates follow published rules, so a labelled projection is possible. These are our estimates, not official dates.
| Benefit | Rule used | Projected date |
|---|---|---|
| OTB | Paid on the 10th unless that is a weekend or holiday | Wednesday, February 10, 2027 |
| CCB | Usually the 20th; moves earlier when the 20th is a weekend | Friday, February 19, 2027 (the 20th is a Saturday) |
CPP, OAS and CDB dates for 2027 do not follow a fixed day of the month, so we do not project them. See upcoming CRA payment dates for the next confirmed deposits.
If a February payment does not arrive
Allow for bank processing first. The CRA asks you to wait 5 working days after the scheduled date before calling about a missing CCB or ACFB payment, and 10 working days for its other benefits, including the OTB.
- Check CRA My Account or My Service Canada Account to confirm the payment was issued and to which account.
- Look for a notice explaining a change, such as a reassessment, an unfiled return or a change in marital status.
- Confirm your direct deposit details have not changed or been closed.
- After the waiting period, contact the CRA (CCB, OTB, ACFB) or Service Canada (CPP, OAS, CDB).
Our missing benefit payment guide covers each step in more detail. The following month's dates are on the March payment dates page.
Common questions
What day is the CCB paid in February 2026?
The Canada Child Benefit was paid on Friday, February 20, 2026. Provincial child benefits such as the Ontario Child Benefit and BC Family Benefit were included in the same deposit.
Why is there no GST payment in February?
The GST/HST credit, now the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit, is paid only four times a year: January, April, July and October. February falls between the January and April payments.
Does Family Day change February benefit dates?
Family Day is a provincial holiday in some provinces, not a federal one. In February 2026 none of the published federal payment dates fell on it, so no payment moved.
When is the Alberta Child and Family Benefit paid in February?
The ACFB was paid on February 27, 2026. It is paid quarterly, in August, November, February and May.
Are CPP and OAS paid on the same day in February?
Yes. In February 2026 both were paid on Wednesday, February 25, along with the GIS and the Allowance.
