CRA payment dates 2027: status by benefit

CRA payment dates for 2027 are not yet announced. As of October 20, 2026, Canada.ca's payment calendars list only 2026 dates for CPP, OAS, the Canada Child Benefit, the CGEB and every other federal benefit; the one 2027 date the CRA has set in writing is the CGEB payment on January 5, 2027, in its guide to the benefit. The next-year calendar usually appears late in the year. Until then, the projection on this page, based on the 2026 pattern, is an estimate only.

Are the CRA payment dates 2027 out yet?
No. The federal benefits calendar and the CRA's benefit payment dates page both show 2026 only. Any website listing exact 2027 dates as official before Canada.ca posts them is estimating.

When does the CRA publish next year's dates?
The next-year calendar typically appears late in the year. Several related figures come out on their own timetable. They change what a 2027 payment is worth, not when it arrives.
- OAS for October to December 2026: published. The maximum OAS is $762.50 a month at 65 to 74 and $838.75 at 75 and over, and the maximum GIS for a single senior is $1,138.90, first paid on October 28, 2026.
- 2027 YMPE and YAMPE: not yet published; usually announced in November.
- CPP increase for January 2027: not yet announced. It uses consumer price index data from November 2025 to October 2026, and is usually announced in late autumn or December.
- OAS for January to March 2027: not yet published.
- CRA pre-filled returns for eligible low-income people: the CRA says this service starts in March 2027, for the 2026 tax year.

2027 dates are not out yet
As of September 2026, Canada.ca lists only 2026 payment dates.
That covers CPP, OAS, the Canada Child Benefit, the CGEB and every other federal benefit.
The next year's calendar usually appears late in the year before.
Until then, treat any 2027 date you see elsewhere as an estimate, not an official date.

CPP payment dates 2027 and OAS payment dates 2027: projection
Method. In 2026, every CPP and OAS date from January to November fell on the third-last business day of the month, counting statutory holidays such as September 30. Every CCB date from January to November fell on the 20th, or on the Friday before when the 20th was a weekend. Applying the same two rules to the first half of 2027 gives the dates below.

December is left out on purpose. December dates are set earlier than the pattern would suggest (in 2026, December 22 for CPP and OAS and December 11 for the CCB), so a rule-based estimate would be unreliable.
CCB payment dates 2027 and what changes in 2027 amounts
Payment amounts will change at several points in 2027, even though the dates are not yet known.
- January 2027: the CPP increase takes effect (rate not yet announced). For comparison, the January 2026 increase was 2.0%.
- January 5, 2027: the next CGEB quarterly payment, at the July 2026 to June 2027 rates (up to $679 a year for a single person).
- Winter 2027: supplemental Canada Disability Benefit payments of $150 for people who become newly eligible. The exact date is not yet announced.
- July 2027: CCB and CGEB are recalculated using 2026 income. Until then, the CCB maximum stays at $679.75 a month for a child under 6 and $573.58 for ages 6 to 17.

How to know when the 2027 dates are posted
- Check the benefits payment calendar on Canada.ca in late 2026; it lists every federal benefit on one page.
- Keep your direct deposit details current in CRA My Account and My Service Canada Account, so the first 2027 payments are not delayed by an old bank account.
- File your 2026 return on time in spring 2027. The July 2027 CCB and CGEB depend on it, and OAS and GIS need it to assess your income.

Are the 2027 CRA payment dates out?
Not yet. As of October 20, 2026, Canada.ca shows 2026 dates only. The 2027 calendar usually appears late in 2026.
What will the January 2027 payment dates be?
They are not yet announced. Based on the 2026 pattern, CPP and OAS could fall around Wednesday, January 27 and the CCB around Wednesday, January 20, but these are projections.
When is the first CGEB payment in 2027?
January 5, 2027. The CRA's guide to the benefit sets the quarterly payments on the 5th of January and April 2027, although its payment calendar had not listed them yet as of October 20, 2026. In 2026 the January payment, then called the GST/HST credit, was issued January 5.
How much will CPP go up in 2027?
The January 2027 increase is not yet announced. It will be based on the change in the consumer price index over the 12 months from November 2025 to October 2026.
Will OAS payment dates change in 2027?
OAS will keep sharing its date with CPP each month. The specific 2027 days have not yet been published.
